Fresh peppers can be stored in the refrigerator, but dried peppers should not be stored in the refrigerator.

Peppers

How to store fresh peppers:

  • Cut off the stem of the pepper.
  • Light the candle and drop the wax oil on the cross section of the pepper stalk.
  • After it has solidified, put the peppers in a fresh-keeping bag and store them in the refrigerator.
  • Be careful not to touch the solidified candle on the pepper base. (This method can be stored for more than 3 weeks). The ordinary storage method is that it can be stored for four or five days in a plastic bag after washing.

How to store dried peppers:

  • Ventilation and moisturizing storage.

Put the selected pepper fruits into plastic baskets, stack the baskets into stacks, seal them with a 0.23-micron-thick plastic tent, add 0.03 ml/liter of sec-butylamine and fumigate for 24 hours. Centimeter opening, the lower part is connected to the air nozzle, and the tent is ventilated for 30 minutes at a flow rate of 15-20 ml/min every day. This storage method can not only keep moisture but not high humidity, which greatly reduces the rate of rotten fruit.

  • Storage in plastic wrap pouches.

The size of the pepper cling film bag is 30 × 40 cm, and each bag contains 1.5 to 2 kg of peppers. Tie the bag mouth tightly, put it in a basket or put it directly on the storage rack. Check once a month or so, or randomly check, without opening the bag, pick out rotten fruits and red peppers depending on storage conditions. Check once a week or half a month later. This method can be stored for about 2 months. The advantages of small package storage are: the plastic wrap has moisturizing and certain air conditioning effects. After the pepper is stored, the fruit has good commodity properties, light weight loss, and bright fruit surface. Due to the small amount of packaging, the infection range of pathogenic bacteria is reduced and the rotten fruit is reduced.
